Antonina Shchenko is an Kyrgyzstani Muay Thy fighter. She is currently a fighter with the UFC Flyweight division. She is also the elder sister of the former UFC Flyweight champ and fellow UFC competitor Valentina. Antonina Shevchenko's professional career in combat sport started out in the form of an Muay Thai fighter. Shevchenko debuted on the IFMA World Championship Tournament in 2003. Shevchenko took the title and then defeated Suzane Mller in a unanimous decision. Antonina received a gold medal in 2007, a silver medal in 2008, a silver in 2007 and an award of bronze in 2008 and a medal gold in the year 2011. Then she was named IFMA World Amateur Muay Thailand Champion in 2016 by the IFMA. Antonia launched her professional career when she was in the year 2003. Antonina's UFC contract was re-extended following this victory. Antonina Shevchenko made her UFC debut UFC at the TUF Finals TUF Heavy Hitting fight against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko fell to Roxanne modafferi in a split decision, after winning her first bout. Antonina has recovered from her defeat by beating Lucie Pudilova on UFC on ESPN Covington against Lawler via a rear-naked choke submission. This earned her the fight-of-the-night bonus. Shevchenko had a 1-2 record during her subsequent three matches, winning over Ariane Lipski while being defeated by Katlyn Clarkagian as well as Andrea Lee.
