Molly Tarlov

Molly Tarlov is an American actor best known for her role in the starring role of Sadie Saxton in the teen comedy-drama TV show Awkward which has been on since the year 2011. Tarlov was born and lived in Manhattan, New York, as one of the two girls. Tarlov began her professional career at the age of 10 when she was Mrs. Peterson in a production of Bye Bye Birdie at the Little Red School House that was a huge success with a group of seventh graders. As she got older, she spent her summers at Interlochen Center for the Arts and in Paris studying with NYU's Tisch. She studied a wide range of acting styles and received her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre at Bennington College. The Atlantic Theater Company was an additional place where she learned. The writer also was incorporated into her performance during the LAByrinth Theatre master class. Molly swapped her black winter jacket in exchange for glasses in black and made her way out into Los Angeles. Her quick rise to fame was when she landed a three word role on iCarly that attracted a lot of attention from parents. Her subsequent appearances include shows on television and has was the creator of Caitlin on Winnie Holzman, Savannah Dooley's ABC's Family series Huge. Molly believes that she is a good basketball player even though she's actually not. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
