Leighton Meester is an American singer, model, actor and songwriter. Her career started in the early years of her life in the role of Blair Waldorf on the popular show 'Gossip Girls'. It was part of the local stage production for "Wizard of Oz" in her early years. That sparked her fascination to perform. Her first job was modelling and appearing in commercials. In addition to her work as a model for fashion, she also worked with the brands of 'Herbal Essences" such as 'Vera Wang', 'Jimmy Choo and Ralph Lauren'. Her acting debut came with a cameo role in the TV show 'Law and Order'. She has since played in numerous television and feature films that include 'Country Strength", 'Monte Carlo' as well as Killer Movie. In addition to her acting work, Meester has also worked with famous artists like 'Cobra Starship' the artist Robin Thicke, and recorded songs.
